Eda Tanoğlu

Eda Tanoğlu began her career in 2004 as an Expert in European Union Education and Youth Programs in the public sector. Alongside managing EU projects she was responsible for, she monitored local development initiative projects within the EU-supported DOKAP program in the TR90 Region and reported to the funding institution. She also served as an independent evaluator of projects under the Women’s Employment Support Program on behalf of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU).

In 2010, she started working as a specialist at the Eastern Black Sea Development Agency (DOKA), moving to the fund-provider side of project management. In the TR90 Region, she worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, preparing grant programs, monitoring projects in the field, and reporting them for evaluation. During the preparation period of the 2014-2023 Development Plan, she served as a Planning Specialist. After receiving rural development and eco-tourism training supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Japan, she worked as the Responsible Executive with a JICA expert on the DOKA-JICA Capacity Development Project in the region until 2016.

Since 2016, she has continued her career in foundation universities in the fields of research fund management and technology transfer and currently serves as the Director of the Technology Transfer Office at Acıbadem University, which operates in the health sector.

She is currently in the thesis phase of her doctoral studies in the Industrial Policies and Technology Management Doctorate Program, focusing on sustainability in health technologies.
